PDF reports
A PDF report brings your selected performance data together in a single file. You can download the PDF report directly in your browser or schedule email delivery. Open PDF reports → Performance report.
Ways to use PDF reports
Manual download
Owner, Admin, and Viewer can generate PDF reports manually. The generated report downloads directly in the browser.
Scheduled email delivery
Owner and Admin configure delivery. Selected active members receive the PDF reports as email attachments.
Automatically generated reports
Owner, Admin, and Viewer can download automatically generated PDF reports from “Overview”.
Generate and download PDF reports
Download automatically generated reports
“Overview” lists each automatically generated PDF report with “File name”, “Marketplace”, “Time frame”, and “Generated”. The next scheduled generation date appears after “Next generation:”.
Generate a PDF report manually
- 1
Open manual generation
Select “Generate report manually”. The previous calendar month is preselected.
- 2
Choose the date range
Keep the preselected month or choose a custom range. The start date must precede the end date. Choose a range within the past two years; today is also allowed. Figures for a day still in progress are incomplete.
- 3
Generate and download
Select “Generate report” to generate the file and download it in your browser.
sellerfox does not email manually generated PDF reports or add them to “Overview”. When several marketplaces are active, a manual PDF report always covers the entire workspace. Scheduled attachment settings do not change the scope of a manual PDF report. Manual generation is unavailable while the workspace is still loading historical data.
You can generate five manual PDF reports per workspace per day. Owners, Admins, and Viewers share this limit. sellerfox rejects the sixth attempt.
Configure the report content
- 1
Set the file-wide options
As an Owner or Admin, open “Report settings” and configure the logo, comparison period, chart history, and report language using the settings below.
- 2
Choose report sections
Under “Report sections”, enable at least one of these sections: “Overview”, “Top 10: ASINs”, “Top 10: Product lists”, “Top 10: Keywords”, or “Top 10: SQPR Search terms”.
- 3
Choose KPIs and sorting
For each section, use “Default KPIs” or select up to 12 “Custom KPIs”. Every section except “Overview” also includes “Sort by:”. For “Top 10: ASINs”, choose “Child ASINs” or “Parent-Child” under “Grouping”.
| Setting | What it controls |
|---|---|
| “Logo” | The selected image appears at the top left of the PDF report. |
| “Comparison period” | The PDF report compares its values with the selected comparison period. |
| “Chart lookback window” | The selected window determines how much history the charts show in monthly and quarterly reports. |
| “Report language” | The PDF report is generated in German or English, independently of the dashboard language. |
The PDF report uses the same KPI labels as the dashboard. You can find the exact labels in the KPI Explorer. The SQPR section requires reports for the selected period; see SQPR reports.
Configure scheduled email delivery
- 1
Enable scheduled delivery
As an Owner or Admin, open “Automated email delivery” and enable “Automated email delivery active”.
- 2
Choose recipients
Under Settings → User Management, enable “Performance PDF reports” for each active member who should receive the reports. This also applies to members with the “External” role: they do not have dashboard access, but they can receive scheduled PDF reports by email.
Members marked “Invite pending” do not receive reports. The “Recipients” row on the delivery page is read-only. The permissions matrix shows what each role can do.
- 3
Choose reporting cycles
Return to “Automated email delivery” and select one or more reporting cycles.
- 4
Choose attachments
Select at least one attachment type. Choose “Overall report over all marketplaces” to combine data for all active marketplaces in one file; sellerfox sends this report only when at least two marketplaces are active. Choose “1 report per marketplace” to attach a separate file for each active marketplace. You can select both options.
| Report type | Covered period | When it is generated |
|---|---|---|
| “Monthly report” | Previous calendar month | On the fifth day of the following month |
| “Quarterly report” | Previous calendar quarter | On the fifth day of the first month after the quarter ends |
| “Yearly report” | Previous calendar year | On January 5 |
sellerfox generates scheduled PDF reports on the fifth day of each month. sellerfox sends each selected cycle in a separate email. The exact upcoming date appears after “Next delivery:”.
