Quickstart

Create your sellerfox account and complete the “Setup guide”. You are then redirected to the dashboard while your historical Amazon data loads in the background.

Before you start

You cannot change the selling region or seller account after connecting Seller Central

If you are creating a workspace for a client or a second region, read Connect Amazon accounts first.

Set up your first workspace

  1. 1

    Create and confirm your account

Sign up at app.sellerfox.com/registration and confirm your account using the link in the email. If your account does not already belong to a workspace, sellerfox automatically creates one and makes you the Workspace Owner. See Your account for sign-in and password recovery.

  2. 2

Choose the region and authorize Amazon

The “Setup guide” opens automatically. First choose the selling region “Europe” or “North America”, then select “Authorize Seller Central” and authorize sellerfox on Amazon's consent screen. Next, connect Amazon Ads with “Authorize Amazon Ads Account”, or skip the step with “Skip”. Seller Central is required because sellerfox loads your sales data through SP-API. You can connect Amazon Ads later under Settings → Connections.

  3. 3

Name the workspace and complete setup

Name your workspace, choose the target currency, and select the relevant marketplaces. Select “Complete setup”, then “Go to dashboard”. sellerfox now starts loading your data, and your 30-day trial begins. No payment method is required. Connect Amazon accounts explains what these settings control. See Subscription, billing & credits for what happens after the trial.

While historical data loads

sellerfox starts loading historical data as soon as setup is complete. Data refresh schedule shows how far back the data goes for each source. As described in the “Setup guide”, the first load can take up to 3 days. In exceptional cases, it may take longer. You can use sellerfox during this time, but some views will not show all data until the load is complete.

A banner above the dashboard shows the progress as a percentage. When the main historical data has loaded, the Workspace Owner and all Admins receive the email "Your historical data has been loaded". If the banner shows a longer loading time, sellerfox has reached Amazon's retrieval limit. The load continues automatically. You do not need to refresh the data yourself, and there is no manual refresh button.

Add keywords on your first day

sellerfox cannot load historical data for keyword rankings or Best Seller Rank (BSR). Best Seller Rank (BSR) tracking starts automatically on a daily basis when setup is complete. sellerfox records keyword rankings only after you add the relevant keyword and determines the first keyword ranking the following day as part of its daily data sync. Add important keywords on your first day to see an initial trend one week later. See Keywords for details.

Use Tour the dashboard to explore the main areas. Review Permissions before inviting teammates.
