Products & product lists

Use the “Products” tab to analyze individual ASINs. “Product KPIs” shows performance by product, while “Keyword KPIs” shows the keyword rankings of the terms you track. Product lists let you save product groups for reuse in filters, KPI alerts, webhooks, and Events.

Owners, Admins, and Viewers can all open this tab. Only Owners and Admins can create, edit, reorder, or delete product lists. See the Permissions matrix for details.

The product catalog comes from Amazon

A product appears once Amazon reports that product for the connected Seller Central account. You cannot add or delete products in sellerfox.

Choose the product analysis view

The tab opens on “Product KPIs”. Two controls above the table determine the structure of the table:

ControlOptionsResult
CourseKPI Overview” / “Time courseone row per product with one column per selected KPI, or one selected KPI across daily, weekly, or monthly columns
GroupingParent-Child” / “Childone family row with expandable ASIN rows, or one row per ASIN directly
An expanded family shows the variations and the parent ASIN as separate rows.

Which rows the table shows depends on the filter. Without a product list or temporary product selection, every product with reported data in the selected period gets a row. With a product list or product selection, every chosen product gets a row even without data, and missing values appear as dashes. sellerfox shows 25 rows at first; “Load more products” loads the next 25.

Which figures a row shows depends on the grouping:

  • Parent-Child”: one row per family, labeled “Total”, combining the parent ASIN and all variations. Expanding the family row reveals the same rows as in “Child” grouping, limited to that family.
  • Child”: one row per ASIN, showing that ASIN's own figures. That includes the parent ASIN itself: the parent ASIN row can show Sessions or Page Views without any units sold. Figures for the whole family appear only in “Parent-Child” grouping, in the “Total” row.

The first row, TOTAL, covers every product that matches the filters, including those not yet loaded into the table. In Time course, the TOTAL column is added, showing each row's value across the whole period.

Filter by product list or product selection

Besides the Products page, the same filter appears in Events, Orders, Profit Tracking, the BSR Explorer, and the Search Term Analyzer. Everywhere you choose between “All products”, a saved product list, and a temporary product selection. Depending on the view, the temporary selection is labeled “Product selection...” or “Custom product selection …”.

See Save a product list or make a temporary selection for building, saving, and deleting a selection. On the Products page, a marketplace filter appears as well when the workspace has multiple active marketplaces; select “Apply filter” to confirm your choice. The Dashboard toolbar controls the date range.

Text search” is on the Products page only, alongside the product list filter. Use the text search to narrow the table by product title, ASIN, or SKU. The same three input rules apply as in the text field of the product selection.

A match on a Child ASIN or Child SKU includes the entire product family. If you combine the search with a product list or temporary product selection, sellerfox shows only products that match both filters. Enter at least three characters. If the search matches more than 1,000 products, sellerfox does not apply the filter until you narrow it further. The filter applies to both KPI Overview and Time course.

Build the chart

Choose the chart metrics separately from the table, in the “Product KPIs” bar above the chart. Then select the product rows the chart should show. Changing the table's KPI set does not affect the chart. Under “Advanced chart settings”, you can merge matching units and display selected “Event Categories”. Events appear only once you select at least one ASIN row. If only the TOTAL row is selected, no events are shown.

Save a product list or make a temporary selection

Both start in the same dialog. Open the dialog through “Product selection...” for a one-time product selection, or through “New product list” to save a new product list. Open an existing list through the gear icon next to “Product list” or through “Edit product lists”, depending on the view. You can switch between the two outcomes inside the dialog without losing your selection: “Save as product list” adds a name field and saves the selection as a permanent product list, while “Select without saving” applies the products to the current filter only, as a temporary product selection.

The dialog shows parents and standalone products. Use the text field to search product titles, ASINs, and SKUs. These rules apply:

InputHow it matches
terms separated by spacesany one of them is enough
terms joined with +all of them must match
a phrase in double quotation markssearched as one term

Two toggles narrow the products shown. “Only active products” hides products that Amazon has not reported as an active listing for more than two weeks. “Nur Produkte ohne Produktliste” shows only products that do not belong to a product list.

Drag products to set the order of your selection. While a product list or temporary product selection is active, the “List position” sorting option sorts the table by that order.

Saving the selection as a product list comes with three limits:

LimitMeaning
Top-level products onlyYou select parents and standalone products; a parent's variations are included automatically
50 products per listUse several lists for a larger catalog
One name per workspaceYou cannot reuse the same list name

A product can belong to multiple product lists. Viewers can apply a product list, but not manage one.

Deleting a product list also deletes its KPI alerts

Deleting a product list cannot be undone. Your products and analytics data remain available, but sellerfox also deletes every KPI alert scoped to that list. A webhook with the same scope remains in place and is marked “Reference Deleted” in the webhook list.

Open a product detail page

Select a product image or name to open the detail page. The header shows the type, ASIN, SKUs, and marketplace, plus “Link to product” and “View BSR history”. Use “Select product” to switch directly to another product without returning to the table.

The detail page also contains the Product KPIs and Keyword KPIs tabs. Under Keyword KPIs, a parent or a variation offers “Grouping of the data” to switch between “Variant” and “Parent + Child”. That switch governs both the keyword and the product figures on this tab.

One product, its variations, and the KPI history behind them.

Collect extended product information with Product Boost

Product Boost sits in the header of the product detail page. While the boost is active, extended product information is added once a day:

  • the brand and, where available, the link to the store
  • the average rating and the review count
  • the current Best Seller Rank (BSR)

While Product Boost is active, 1 credit is used. Only an Owner or Admin can enable the boost. Enabling the boost for a variation applies the activation to the whole parent. After activation, the first data can take up to 24 hours to appear.

Automatic BSR history in the BSR Explorer does not require Product Boost. sellerfox collects the BSR history during the daily product update over the SP-API; see BSR Explorer.

Read Keyword KPIs

Under Dashboard → Products → Keyword KPIs, compare the ranking trends of your tracked keywords. The table contains one row per keyword. Expand a row to see the products that ranked for that keyword. Manage the keywords themselves on the Keywords page.

This tab has its own text filter: “Keyword search”, with the modes “Contains”, “Does not contain”, and “Exact match”. The product list and marketplace filters work as they do under “Product KPIs”.

Two controls produce three views. “Course” switches between KPI Overview and Time course. In KPI Overview, “Time frame” additionally switches between “Latest data” and “Historical data Ø”.

ViewWhat it shows
KPI Overview with “Latest datathe most recent collected reading, independent of the Dashboard date range
KPI Overview with “Historical data Øthe average across the selected period
Time coursethe selected KPI by date

To add a ranking trend to the chart, choose the metrics in the “Keyword KPIs” bar above the chart, then select a keyword row in the table. To chart a single ASIN, expand the keyword and select the corresponding product row. The chart's KPI selection is independent of the table's KPI set. Applying new filters clears the chart selection.

Events in the chart are product-scoped. sellerfox therefore displays events only when you select at least one ASIN row; a selected keyword row alone is not enough.

On a product detail page, the chart can show keyword KPIs on one axis and product KPIs on the other. The chart shows whether ranking trends and product performance moved during the same period.

Export supported tables

Where “Export” is available, you can choose XLSX or CSV. Every export behaves the same way:

  • It contains every row that matches the active filters, not just the rows currently displayed.
  • The columns are the KPIs selected in the table.
  • The TOTAL row is not included.
  • Column headings stay English in both dashboard languages, including the KPI headings.
  • A large export can take several minutes; leave the dialog open while it runs.

Scope and grouping depend on the view you export from:

ViewScopeGrouping
Products → Product KPIsevery product that matches the filtersas set under “Grouping” above the table
Products → Keyword KPIsevery tracked keyword that matches the filtersselectable in the export dialog: “Search Term” or “Search Term + ASIN
Product detail → Product KPIsthat product and its variationsNo grouping choice; always one row per ASIN
Product detail → Keyword KPIsthe keywords of that productNo grouping choice; always “Search Term

Every product export starts with columns that identify the product, followed by the KPI columns. Which columns come first depends on the grouping:

GroupingLeading columns

one row per ASINMarketplace, Parent ASIN, Child ASIN, Child SKUs

Export your data lists the formats available in each view.
